Today is the last day of computer applications, i have finished a couple of movies this semester, i have worked on my first movie with Marton, which was the mirror effect, then we worked on a movie called "The Chase" using after effects for shots and blood. We tried using the green screen so we could make Charles jump from a high roof, it sort of worked, you can see it at the end of the movie. I then moved into green foot and i tried completing the first chapter but i did not like it, so i tried making a video like the annoying orange on youtube but interpreting Star Wars, i used Charles as my model but it did not work out because there was his mouth was moving too much so i could not put it on the fruit. I started stop motion with Lego i completed about 30 seconds of the video but it got very hard so i just decided to make another movie with some friends. I finished the movie last week and ended up looking pretty good but there could be some things changed, (i learned a lot from my mistakes). The movie was pretty long so i made a trailer of it on Imovie. I have the video on a computer at home so i will post it on the blog as soon as i export it.

How have your experiences been different in the second quarter? Are you more or less satisfied with your progress? Are you doing more of less work out of class?

I am more satisfied with my work because i am more much more experienced which allows me to make my videos look better

Has the atmosphere in the class changed during the course? How has it changed?

It didnt really change, the only thing is that people knew there work better than last quarter

What advice can you give to students who are about to start on the module that you are just finishing? What can you say that would help them have a more effective learning experience?

following the tutorials on youtube, that freddiew makes, they are very good and they teach you how to make great things.

This course provided you with an opportunity to extend your knowledge skills and understanding in areas that you have chosen.

i understand much better how video editing works, if i start using any other new video editing program i would be able to learn how to use it much faster.

I have finished my movie but it is pretty long it is 3 min so i started working on a trailer for the movie but i am not sure if i will be able to finish it in time

Today i nearly finished my movie, i had a problem because this weekend i moved all my files around, because i was organazing my computer, and then realized the movie files could not be moved so the program could not read them, so what i did was move them back and thats it. I also chose the song which fits the video. By the end of next class ill be done with it.

In the past few days i started working on a movie with fruits, something to do with the annoying orange but it star wars, interpreting when darth vader tells luke he is his father, i worked on it for a couple of lessons but it did not work out, i need to work on it with someone else for a long time, and most of the people either dont want to or do not have the time, i tried it with charles but his head was moving to much which did not allow me to put his mouth on the fruit. Furthermore a couple of months ago i started working on an action movie with a couple of friends, i stoped editing it because my 30 days of After effects expirired on my laptop, so now i decided to finish the editing in this class and make the movie look better than i was working on it before.
